ONE-OFF

La Lectura de un Mercado

One Southern Cone market, read in full. Who operates each asset today and until when, how much cargo it moves, and what the comparables in the region and the world were paid. Which processes are still open, and which date closes first. Every figure with the address where it is written.

What CORREDOR sells is the subscription: El Monitor every fortnight and La Tesis once a month, for USD 2,400 a year. This is not another product: it is a sample of that work, one market alone, for whoever prefers to see before committing a year.

Where it comes from, and what is searched for when it is missing

A competition register publishes what was notified to it, and only when it was notified. An official gazette publishes what was resolved. A port publishes what it tenders. An exchange publishes what a company is obliged to disclose. Each one sees a fragment.

Here 315 sources across the five countries are read every fortnight, and each fragment ends up beside the next. That is what none of those sources publishes on its own.

And whatever this fortnight's press does not say is searched for. For each fact that matters: who operates that asset today, until when, how much it moves and what was paid last time. For the market as a whole: the operators and their share, the concessions expiring in the next five years, and the price per unit of capacity paid abroad.

No claim in the document depends on you taking my word: every line ends in the address it came from.

USD 250, once

It is not a subscription and nothing renews. You pay once, you choose your market, and that one arrives, complete and with every figure at its address. The others are a separate purchase: what is paid for here is one market.

What this document does not say

  • It does not say what your asset is worth. It says what was paid for the ones that changed hands and was published, here and abroad, and the per-unit-of-capacity figure they are compared against. The price of yours does not exist until somebody offers it.
  • It does not say what will happen. Every piece is something that already occurred and was written down.
  • It does not include anything behind a login, a paywall or a technical barrier.
  • It does not include mentions: a piece enters only if it reports a fact, not if the market appears in passing.
  • It does not claim where each fact happened: it says which country the source is from, which is what the data supports.
